[VolunteerMatch - Get out. Do good.]
Abuse is a leading cause of injury and death in children.
  • 2 million children are seriously abused each year.
  • At least 1000 children die per year as a result of their injuries.
Newport News CASA helps “powerless children” who are under the court's supervision.  CASAs ensure that the children are safe. CASAs ensure that each child is receiving all the court mandated services. CASAs ensure that each child has the continuity of one person they can count on during their time within the legal system. CASAs remain with their child until the ultimate goal of a safe, loving and permanent home is reached.
